We had 5 hunters this week and we took 3 bucks. We really didn't see major crazy rut this week so its now safe to say that peak rut was November 18. Jim Summers took this nice buck on a new stand that Nick and I put up. Congrats to Keith Kellogg and Lance Merritt who also took bucks. Keith harvested his deer in the last hour of hunt. He had close calls with bigger deer but this was his very first whitetail. CONGRATS!
Lance Merritt shot an old fighting warrior. Had one horn and it was beat to shreds. Now a 10 day break before rifle season. We have a lease special going as I have found a dandy lease that I'm raising extra cash to finance. Call for details. Have a nice Thanksgiving. Jeff
