ok, was holding off a bit on reporting cause i hadn't fished for a week. After fishing all weekend here it is. Walleyes trolling in 13 to 15 feet of water. Try sandy beach and walnut creek. as well as any other point with some wind blowing in. We caught some nice walleyes on green and orange bellied walleye divers. I caught a cooler full of whites trolling at the causeway friday. along with 25 crappies.
saturday and sunday my boat struggled while leon and steve did ok on the walleyes. i was kind of looking for the homerun and didnt get on base! this coming weekend look for the whitebass surfacing and nite fishing should be good. walleyes should stay active for some time to come. flooding extends the season. crappies could be tougher. have a safe weekend.
