Well it was a tough opener. About as bad as can be 22 degrees. With 40 to 50 mph winds and a solid ice covering. Needless to say not much of an opener. The West Virginia boys knocked down 2 turkeys. Congrats and they filled there tags friday morning. The next day was 33 degrees with 30 mph winds. So a real struggle and hope everybody knows how bad we feel. We know everybody has looked forward to their trip for months. This weekend has been much better with 5 toms brought in Saturday night. So on goes the fight and we will hunt til wednesday and then shut things down for a 5 day break. We find it really refreshes the areas and makes much better hunting the rest of the month. Jeff
