The walleye's have finished with the spawn and I expect a few catches in the main lake around April 22. Give the drop-off west of Waconda Springs a try.
Crappies are being caught and Leon has not had great luck this week but the fishing is improving each day. The weather looks like a big is coming in at the end of the week, so the weekend looks shot.
We should have white bass up the river any day.
