We spent yesterday looking for a wounded deer. Unfortuantely, its part of every deer hunting camp. This deer was hit mortally and sadly enough we wiill probably lose that guy.

Great start to the 2012 archery Kansas whitetail rut hunt! 6 deer arrowed last week 5 recovered. 3 deer were in the 140 to 155 class. We had to drag one 3/4 mile up a cold river to recover.

Here's some nice windy day walleye fishing with Jeff Rader. 24 walleye keepers and 20 short fish left go. Catching nice cats now and slab spooning white bass is filling up the coolers. We have a few fall dates left.
