We spent yesterday looking for a wounded deer. Unfortuantely, its part of every deer hunting camp. This deer was hit mortally and sadly enough we wiill probably lose that guy.

Great start to the 2012 archery Kansas whitetail rut hunt! 6 deer arrowed last week 5 recovered. 3 deer were in the 140 to 155 class. We had to drag one 3/4 mile up a cold river to recover.

It's December 9th and rifle season is winding down. It was an interesting season but we managed to get our hunters tagged out with exception of 1 guy that had to go home early due to a mothers death.
