We spent yesterday looking for a wounded deer. Unfortuantely, its part of every deer hunting camp. This deer was hit mortally and sadly enough we wiill probably lose that guy. The second deer looked like a light shoulder hit and he will be fine. So let's hope for better angles taken on shots and 35 yards and in.
Bill Rusch showed why he is an accomplished bowman and has taken hundreds of whitetail deer. We tried a brand new approach to a tricky dry pond location.
Bill Shot this buck his first morning.
The rut is getting stronger and next weeks guys are going to tear things up here. I can't believe how much I love being in the woods.
