Were excited for fishing season here. We have a lot of hard work here in front of us tearing down boats is keeping the welding shop busy as all three pontoons are getting a major working over.
Walleyes - We look to have a strong walleye fishing year coming and were really pushing night fishing as we are catching better and bigger walleyes at night. Plus caught a limit of wipers every night but one. 2 per person so 16 to 20 wipers a nite averaging 5 pounds. Now that's some line tangling!
Crappie Fishing is going to be down again but there is some good news a couple of years out. There are millions of 3 inchers in crappie beds! So, keep a eye out!
White bass will be spectacular.
Wipers will be strong.
Catfish are keeping up with the pressure.
Were so grateful to have spent 30 years on such a productive lake and hoping I can make it another 20 more. Imagine 50 years as a fishing guide God willing.
I hope some readers can make it to see us this year. Our fishing availability starts May 8 and we have the $85 special on includes lodging and a half day fishing
