Sorry for a bit of a fishing update delay as I've been in the field turkey hunting chasing the Rio's around.
The crappies wide open and moving shallow and deep! With stable weather the fishing should be a good in 2 weeks.
Walleye'ss are coming up in the short category. Catching 50 to 60 walleyes per day in the 15-17 inch range, with 2 or 3 keeper's at 18 inch in that bunch. The walleye fishing will be really good in the future. I'm expecting to see more keepers in the next few weeks.
Meanwhile... bring a lot of nite crawlers! White bass are starting to be picked up trolling. So the next few weeks are really going to see some nice fishing with good weather.
Crappies showing up everywhere, marina coves, bluffs, dam, all the coves and mill creek causeway.
